thanks Duane! I am still trying to get a couple myself, I was having so much fun at the signing, I forgot to grab some, and apparently, Tate sold out soon after the event. My Dad will be pissed if he doesn't get one
Tate is a store, the greatest comic store I think, in the USA. Tate commissioned and paid for the Variant cover, amazing right? I'm trying to get a few sent to me, I'll let you know if I'm lucky enough to get my hands on some.
It's great, the best cover of the three, and now I see it better I realize the reflection of Jennir remember the last Bilal! Believe to me, I buy dark times from England only to your drawings! I work hard to become a comic book artist, I would one day be able to draw even the stories of Star Wars! Continue to do a good job and thank you for SWDT 18 Tate cover!
Thank you very much! Receiving such a comment from a comic book artist like you is one of those things you never forget. I'm not so young as I would like, or as I should be, as promising professional. I'm 30 years old!
Oh that's plenty young my friend. Hal Foster started Prince Valliant when he was 44 years old, and worked on it until he was 82, or 83 I think, just wait, no he was 87!...there is hope for us both as long as we don't get hit by a cab!
thanks jeffcee! it has already come out, the cover was published for a signing that I, Mike Mignola, Randy Stradley, Scott Allie and Kari Yadro did for Tate's Comics in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The best comic store in the USA, at least that I have seen. Randy and I signed all 500 copies while we were there.
